The short version
- Your measurements stay on your iPhone. We do not copy them to our servers.
- We keep only what you need to sign in: your name, your email and an account number.
- We never sell your data and never use it for ads.
- No ad trackers and no usage tracking in the app.
- To delete your account, write to us and we remove it within 30 days.
Who we are
Coach Scale is made by Tev Labs, a sole proprietorship owned by Aarooran Ramaswamy Venkatachalam (GSTIN 33BUSPA9343R1ZV), 507, Second Floor, Arvind Towers, DB Road, RS Puram, Coimbatore 641002, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us"). "You" means the person using Coach Scale.
Questions, requests and complaints: support@coachscaleapp.com. A person reads every message. This is also our contact under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (grievance officer: Aarooran Ramaswamy Venkatachalam).
What stays on your iPhone
Your measurements (such as weight and body composition), your profile, your goals and your settings are stored on your iPhone. We do not receive them. If you back up your iPhone, your backup can include them. Deleting the app deletes them from the app.
What we receive, and why

If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only see the private address Apple gives us.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifier.
Apple Health
Coach Scale reads and writes only the data types you allow in Apple Health's permission screen, and you can change that at any time in the Health app. What Coach Scale reads stays on your iPhone. We never delete readings that other apps wrote to Apple Health. Data from Apple Health is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone.
Emails to support
If you contact us from the app, the email can include technical details about the app and your device to help us fix your problem. It never includes your measurements, notes or health answers, and you see the email before you send it.
Who else handles your data
These companies run parts of Coach Scale for us. Each may only use your data to provide its service to us.

What we never do
- Sell your data, or share it for advertising.
- Use your data to target ads.
- Let a data broker, insurer or employer see your data.
How long we keep it
- Your account (name, email, account number) stays while your account exists.
- When you ask us to delete your account, we remove it within 30 days.
- Emails to support stay in our inbox until you ask us to delete them.
Deleting your account does not delete data other apps wrote to Apple Health.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- See, correct or delete your account details: write to support@coachscaleapp.com.
- Correct or delete your measurements: edit or delete them in the app.
- Withdraw consent to Apple Health in the Health app.
- Ask or complain at support@coachscaleapp.com. We answer within 30 days.
In the EU and UK you also have the rights to object, to restrict processing, to portability, and to complain to your data protection authority. In India you may nominate someone to act for you if you die or cannot act. In US states with privacy laws (for example California and Washington) you have the rights those laws give, and we honour them for everyone.
Our legal basis (EU and UK)
Keeping your account so you can sign in is part of our contract with you. Reading Apple Health is based on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the Health app.
Data leaving your country
Your account is kept in the United States. For people in the EU and UK we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK addendum.
Age
Coach Scale is for people 18 and over. If we learn someone under 18 has an account, we delete it.
Not medical care
Coach Scale is not a medical device and not covered by US health privacy law (HIPAA), because we are not a doctor, hospital or insurer. This policy is what protects your data.
Changes
This is an early version of Coach Scale. When we add features that handle your data differently (for example, keeping your measurements in your account so they reach your other devices), we will update this policy and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
