The short version

• Coach Scale helps you manage your weight. It is not medical advice and not a doctor.
• You must be 18 or over.
• Your data stays yours. We only use it to run Coach Scale for you.
• This is an early version, free while in testing. It may have bugs.
• Don't copy Coach Scale, take it apart, or use it to build something else.

1. Who we are

Coach Scale is made by Tev Labs, a sole proprietorship owned by Aarooran Ramaswamy Venkatachalam (GSTIN 33BUSPA9343R1ZV), 507, Second Floor, Arvind Towers, DB Road, RS Puram, Coimbatore 641002, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the Coach Scale app and website. Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms.

Apple's TestFlight terms also apply.

2. Who can use Coach Scale

You must be 18 or over and able to agree to these terms where you live.

3. Your account

• Keep access to your sign-in safe; anyone who has it can open your account.
• One account per person. If you end up with two, write to us and we will help.
• Tell us at once at support@coachscaleapp.com if you think someone else got in.

4. Not medical advice

Coach Scale gives general information about weight and habits. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

• Talk to a doctor before starting or changing a weight goal, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, take medication, or have ever had disordered eating.
• Stop and talk to a doctor if you feel unwell, or if tracking your weight is making you anxious.
• In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Numbers in the app depend on your readings and can be wrong if a reading is wrong or missing.

5. Early version

This version of Coach Scale is free while we test it. It may have bugs, may change, and may lose data, so keep your own copy of anything important (Apple Health keeps the readings Coach Scale writes to it). It is confidential: please don't share screenshots, recordings or details of unreleased features until they are public. Paid plans may come later; we will tell you before anything costs money, and nothing is charged without your say.

6. Your data and your content

Your measurements, answers and notes are yours. You give us permission to handle them only to run Coach Scale for you. That permission ends when your account is deleted, except for what the law makes us keep.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

7. What belongs to us, and what you may not do

Coach Scale, including its design, text, charts, calculations and methods, belongs to Tev Labs. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control, while you follow these terms.

You may not:

• Copy, reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code, methods or calculations behind Coach Scale.
• Use Coach Scale or its content to build, train or improve a competing product or an AI model.
• Scrape or pull data out of Coach Scale with automated tools.
• Break, overload, or get around the security of Coach Scale or our providers, or reach anyone else's data.
• Use Coach Scale for anything illegal, or to harm yourself or anyone else.

8. Changes

Coach Scale will keep changing; features may be added, changed or removed. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.

9. Ending

• You can stop any time: delete the app, and write to support@coachscaleapp.com to delete your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 7, puts others at risk, or where the law requires. Unless the law or safety stops us, we will tell you why.
• We may end this test at any time. We will tell you first.

10. Our responsibility

We provide Coach Scale "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on the app, or for losses we could not reasonably foresee. Nothing here limits responsibility that your local law does not allow to be limited, or removes your rights as a consumer.

11. Disagreements

Write to support@coachscaleapp.com first; most things are fixed that way. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu can hear disputes. If your local consumer law lets you use your own courts, you keep that right.
